Austill’s Educational Therapy Services Supports Chester County Students Through Community Partnerships

At Austill’s Educational Therapy Services, supporting students extends far beyond the classroom. We are proud to partner with schools, families, and community organizations throughout Pennsylvania to help children access meaningful opportunities for growth, movement, participation, and success.

Recently, our team had the honor of sponsoring and attending the Chester County Special Olympics event as well as an Orthopedic Clinic Day at a local school.

Supporting Inclusion Through Chester County Special Olympics

The Chester County Special Olympics event was an inspiring day filled with energy, encouragement, and community connection. Austill’s Educational Therapy Services was proud to sponsor the event and engage directly with students and families through an interactive activity focused on fine motor skill development.

At our table, participants had the opportunity to complete a fun “Grip & Clip Relay,” an activity designed to promote, Fine motor coordination, Hand strength, Bilateral coordination, and more! Using clothespins and tweezers to transport items across a relay station, students practiced important occupational therapy-related skills while having fun and participating in friendly competition. Activities like these help demonstrate how therapeutic exercises can be incorporated into engaging, functional tasks that support student development.

Our team loved connecting with students, educators, and families throughout the event and celebrating the incredible determination and sportsmanship displayed by all athletes.

Supporting Students Through Orthopedic Clinic Services

In addition to supporting the Chester County Special Olympics, members of the Austill’s administrative team and some of our school-based physical therapists recently collaborated with Dr. Shrader and his team for an orthopedic clinic day designed to support students with orthopedic and mobility-related needs.

This collaborative clinic day provided students with access to specialized support and assessments aimed at improving mobility, positioning, physical access, and participation within the school environment.

Partnerships like these highlight the importance of collaboration between medical professionals, therapists, school teams, and families to ensure students receive comprehensive, student-centered support.

The Importance of Community Partnerships in School-Based Therapy

At Austill’s Educational Therapy Services, we believe meaningful student support happens through strong community partnerships. Whether participating in local events, collaborating with healthcare providers, or supporting schools directly, our goal remains the same: helping students access opportunities to learn, participate, and thrive.

Our school-based occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists all play an important role in fostering inclusive educational experiences for students across Pennsylvania.

Proud to Support Chester County Schools and Communities

We are grateful to have participated in such impactful opportunities alongside dedicated educators, families, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.

Thank you to everyone involved in making the Chester County Special Olympics event and orthopedic clinic day such meaningful experiences for students. Austill’s Educational Therapy Services remains committed to supporting school communities across Pennsylvania through collaboration, advocacy, and compassionate care.

We look forward to continuing to serve students and families through school-based therapy services, community engagement, and innovative partnerships that make a lasting difference!
